Took my wife here after watching Vanderpump rules. We were greeted at the door by Israel who was super friendly and nice. Went to the bar while we waited for a table, Mike and McKenna did an amazing job making us feel so welcome. The goat cheese balls were phenomenal. The decor was really nice.

I had my birthday dinner at Sur and it was fantastic! Our server, Lawrence, was super attentive and really made us feel special. We got seated in a cozy VIP room that was perfect for the occasion. The food was incredible--the famous goat cheese balls were a must-try, and the mussels and bucatini were top-notch. We also enjoyed some delicious drinks: the SUR spritz and mai tai were our favorites. My friends and I had an amazing time. We love Vanderpump Rules and it was great finally getting to try Sur!

Pleasantly surprised! Lisa Vanderpump delivered. Cool space and atmosphere that is a lot bigger than I expected. They have happy hour but only at the bars and it's a limited menu. We wanted a full dinner so we got a table instead. We got the Squid Ink Bucatini which was cooked very well and very tasty. The Short Ribs were filling and hearty too. Also like the Goat Cheese Balls to start off with. The Brussel Spouts were good but not as crispy as I would have liked. Overall, worth checking out if you are a fan of the Vanderpumps and something that is very LA!

Fried goat cheese balls lived up to the hype. The drinks were delicious and strong. Service and ambience was great. Good vibes all around

My boyfriend and I came here wanting to do a little sight seeing and try the goat cheese balls. We made a reservation for 2 at 8 pm. The Food 4/5 : We ordered the goat cheese balls and 1/2 dozen oysters which I thought would be good picks. A friend of ours recommended that we just go here for apps because the entrees are a little over-priced for what they are. I would agree, but say that it was 100% worth it to get the apps! Goat cheese balls were everything I had hoped and the mignonette served with the oysters was delicious. The Service 3/5: My only complaint is that we made a reservation for 8 pm, but we're not seated until 8:20 because it seems like the hostess was a little confused and forgot about us. When we arrived we checked in (around 7:50) and were directed to wait by the bar while they prepared our table (they said we would receive a text when it was ready). After 20 minutes without a text I decided to go and check in with the hostess and see if we could be seated. The hostess did not recognize us at all even when I told her our name and pointed out our reservation on her tablet. She seemed confused and could maybe use a little more training. I'm not sure how long we would have been waiting had we not gone and checked. The Ambiance 5/5: Lived up to everything I had hoped for!

The ambiance at Sur was spot-on, with exquisite decorations and a fun vibe. The staff, especially Guillermo, made our group feel very welcome. The fried goat cheese balls were my favorite--crispy and delicious. I also had the pink drink, braised short ribs and the Brussels sprouts. The ribs were tender and cooked perfectly, though I wish it was a bit more flavorful and the sauce had more sweetness. The brussel sprouts were well balanced. Overall, a fun experience!

Oh, Sur was DANG GOOD. Fried goat cheese balls - 8/10. You definitely have to like goat cheese to like these. I LOVE goat cheese so this was a great appetizer for me. I will say I don't know if goat cheese should be fried, but I did like them. Seafood squid ink pasta - 10/10. Absolutely phenomenal. Cocktails - all around a 8/10. I got a pumptini then a lychee flavored martini. They were sweet and good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Service - 10/10!!! Everyone was so great! I don't watch Vanderpump Rules so I truly have an unbiased opinion on this restaurant. I loved the interior, the service was excellent, and the food and drinks were good. The only downside is it's super pricey. I think some things were reasonably priced but $22 for a cocktail is cuhhhhrazy. Same for salads being minimum $20. Either way, good restaurant! I'd come here again.

Food is decent and tastes good, better than expected! Priced as expected because you're definitely paying for the ambiance and to say you got to dine there. Really pretty back enclosed patio, decorated so nicely. The staff was friendly. Food took a while but that's probably a good sign. I do recommend going! It's a great place experience and definitely worth it. Surprised at how much better SUR dining and food and decor was than expected. Pleasant place to hang out and eat delicious food. Great photo ops! Definitely a bar bathroom though :) of course we got oysters and fried goat cheese balls! They also have vegan options just ask. Also parking is so easy!

Tonight we dined at a stunning trendy West Hollywood restaurant before leaving LA. The interior design alone is worth the visit as Lisa Vanderpump's eye for imaginative open air dining was exquisite. The servers were friendly and very helpful with the variety of interesting dining choices. We decided to open our diner with blue fin tuna Tatar and sea bass ceviche. Both were scrumptious and plated as if it was a picture! We followed with their brazed ribs and sea food pasta! Both Entrees were perfecto . Lastly, the homemade blackberry crumble with ice cream and risotto pudding were decadent. Oh my, we couldn't believe we ate the whole thing !!!! Enjoy this beautiful fun 5 star eatery.
